A short distance after that you will see Somers Supermarket also on your left on the corner. Turn left at Somers Supermarket and then first right onto Blockade Alley (you will see the road sign). Crooked Elbow is directly ahead at the very end of Blockade Alley. It is a large light yellow house with a balcony. It has dark green trim and shutters. There is a large Poinciana tree in the garden. 2. Crooked Elbow is wonderful and the owners are so sweet! My husband and I loved our stay in Bermuda and this rental is fabulous! We hope to return and will definitely try to stay here again!

      3. This was a return visit for me and this time I chose to stay at Crooked Elbow despite having to be in Hamilton much of the week. The unit is ideally located to the beaches (Tobacco Bay and Fort St. Catherine’s), historic town center and one block from the bus stop that will connect you with anyplace on the Island. In December the town of St. George’s is wonderfully decorated for the Holidays and the feeling of Christmas really takes hold of you when you are there! Mark and Anne are wonderful hosts and if you seek a quiet, clean, quaint, centrally located and charming place to stay, book a stay at Crooked Elbow!

      4. I loved Crooked Elbow. Everything you need is there and all the comforts of home. The owners were very caring and knowledgeable. Anne Rowe who lives above the property was a delight to chat with. She invited me to her beautifully decorated home for a cup of tea and we chatted for some time on her huge balcony with a wonderful view of the unfinished church. Everything is in walking distance and the bus stop is literally on your doorstep. The bus pass saved a lot of money as I used the buses and ferries every day for the week I stayed there. Couldn’t thank them enough. Only had time to go to Tobacco Beach once as I wanted to make good use of the bus pass and explore the island. When I stayed in Hamilton my second week I went back to that beautiful beach. When I checked out Anne allowed me to stay until late afternoon as no guests were arriving that day so I spent a few hours at Tobacco Beach and went to the unfinished church and St. Catherine’s Fort, not to be missed. Anne also allowed me to keep the bus pass as I left May 30 and it wouldn’t be needed on the 31st so I had the pass for 8 days instead of the seven and I used it to go the zoo and aquarium which is well worth a visit too. I would definitely go back to Elbow Cottage. Mark Rowe gave me excellent directions from the airport to give to the taxi driver so there was no problem finding this wonderful home. I was almost in tears when I left. I loved Crooked Elbow and St. Georges and hope to return one day.

      5. My wife and I spent eight days in St. Georges. It was our first time in Bermuda and if we ever come back we will definitely rent this apartment again. It was charming, spacious, and had everything we needed. More importantly, the location was great. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches, bus stops, and on the cutest street in Bermuda.

      6. I spent a fortnight at Crooked Elbow together with my husband and we both enjoyed its charm and convenience. You would never have all this space and comforts checking into a modern hotel.
The place has the old cottage feel about it, is welcoming, super organised, arty and “ homey”. We loved its 300 years history, its location and the patio-garden area. We received visits from the local chickens who participated in our breakfasts. Having drinks outside after days full of nature’s delights was an extra pleasure.
Mark, a superb host, visited from time to time to ask if he could be of any assistance.
        We shall definitely come back!
