Wainwright House

Wainwright House is an elegant mid 19C house on a quiet street in the heart of old St Georges. This lovely listed building has retained many of its original features. The south facing porch provides panoramic views of the town and harbour.

We offer a 3 room suite, continental breakfast, and daily maid service. Picnic lunches can be provided by arrangement.

The 400 year old town of St Georges is a world Heritage site and is Bermuda’s oldest town You can take a taxi or walking tour around the many historical buildings and forts, hire a horse and carriage or simply wander through the narrow streets and quaint alleyways

The attractions of St Georges include shops, restaurants, internet cafes, museums, an 18 hole golf course and of course the beaches with swimming, snorkeling, kayak rentals and much much more. Transportation around St Georges and the rest of the island includes buses, taxis, ferries and moped rentals.

A continental breakfast is served every morning .This may be enjoyed while relaxing on the porch and enjoying the beautiful views below.

Elegant and sunny, the sitting room has French doors opening onto the large porch overlooking St Georges harbour. There is a dining table, ceiling fan, TV, CD player, books and magazines. An armoire contains a fridge with small freezer, electric kettle and microwave.

The bedroom with your choice of king or twin beds has A/C ceiling an, a telephone and plenty of closet and storage space. The adjoining bathroom is spacious and airy and fresh towel are provided when required. There is a hairdryer, beach towels and an iron by request.
