Quaint and romantic
Located in a quiet area at the West End of the Island this beautifully restored historic, listed property offers a private two-storey wing, tastefully furnished with antiques. This guest wing, which has been restored to retain it's original character, is known as The Old Cookhouse. It consists of a pretty sitting room, with fireplace and bread oven, shower room and a spiral staircase leading to a cedar beamed upstairs bedroom.

Travel by water.
The property has lovely water views across the Great Sound. There is a charming private pathway to Cavello Bay Ferry stop. From here regular ferries will convey you in style to Hamilton, Dockyard and other parts. (Ideal for business guests due to the short 15 minute, very comfortable ferry ride to and from Hamilton during the commuting hours). Meanwhile, the village of Somerset is a pleasant 10-minute walk away where one can find restaurants, banks and regular buses.

Breakfast included.
Included in your accommodation is a breakfast room which is equipped with a microwave, fridge, toaster and electric kettle. Home made Bermuda Banana bread, cereal etc. are provided so that breakfast may be taken at your leisure. There is a secluded outdoor seating area with a BBQ. The Cookhouse is equipped with cable TV, and telephone/fax. Laundry facilities are also available on request.

Nightly rates ($US) including taxes:

  • The minimum length of stay is 5 nights.

  • A 2 night deposit is required to confirm a reservation. This is non-refundable 30 days prior to arrival.

  • Daily room service and breakfast is included.

  • The apartment will comfortably accommodate only 1 or 2 persons.

  • No smoking indoors.
