Enquiries, reservations, deposits and other arrangements are made by direct contact with the owners. BermudaGetaway is not a rental agency.

BermudaGetaway strives to host only properties which meet high standards as regards furnishing, facilities and location. The property owners are known to be friendly, welcoming and committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of all guests.

While BermudaGetaway is not in a position to organise vacations or advise on the day-to-day availability of accommodation, we offer as much assistance as possible. By visiting the properties and meeting the owners, many of whom are personal friends, we do feel qualified to give some guidance. We do not work on a commission basis, so our impartialility and readiness to act in the best interest of our visitors is assured.

For a reasonable membership fee, BermudaGetaway offers an efficiently promoted showcase for rental properties. Web page creation, photography and maintenance are offered as part of the basic service. Alternatively, a link can be provided to an existing web site.

Intensive promotion of the BermudaGetaway site, to a level not affordable by individual property owners, is an advantage of the collective approach. The high visibility achieved more than outweighs any perceived competition from other apartments on the site.

BermudaGetaway's owner, Mark, promotes his own property solely through this web site, on an equal basis with other properties. There is no better endorsement or assurance than that.

There is a high and growing demand by visitors for accommodation in homes. BermudaGetaway aims to tap this demand by raising awareness of the quality and hospitality, which Bermuda has to offer in this category. Not only is there a shortage of affordable hotel beds to be exploited, but first-time visitors who would not otherwise consider a vacation in Bermuda are being attracted.
